Question, If I have a 742 case, clutch SG 3.23 geared diff. can I switch from a small yoke to a big yoke?

if the spline count matches its doable,,, you need to match the torque on the pinion nut. why dont you get the conversion U joint? much less work..

Yes you can, the 742 doesn't have a crush sleeve , off with the old on with the new, RTV on the splines after you clean them andredloctite on the nut.

Thats what I thought, as long as spline count was the same. Never heard of RTV on the splines though. What is the yoke nut torque setting?
