I have a 67 300 'vert with the early power steering pump (not Saginaw)...The pumps been rebuilt, but they did not replace the gasket in the cap which was soooo loose that ps fluid would leak out of there. I made a gasket to fit, but it is REALLY tight now. The cap is supposed to be vented and I'm afraid the gasket is now so tight the cap won't be able to vent...

Anyone know if replacements caps are available for these pumps????

I have the same problem with my loose cap on my TRW/Thompson pump... Hoping someone makes a replacement gasket....
