hello all i know this has been done time and time i just got my new cragar ss wheels they 15x7 with 4 1/4 back space for my demon what size will be the best tire to use its all stock i was thinking of 255 60r 15 any pic ? of this size thks ed 14x6 up frount &
15x7 out rear

This is a 255-60-15 on a 15x7 with a 4" backspace. In reality I have a 3" backspace since I have small bolt to large bolt adapters. I would think a 255-70 would fit nicely.

Mine is the barracuda in the signature, I have 1" over arch on the rear springs and have flipped the front hangers. I run repo rallys 15x 7" with 245 60 15 rear. The close spot is the sidewall to the leaf spring, about 5/8" and never has hit. If I keep the offset I can go as wide as I want. My setup fits very comfortably.

by fliping the frount hangers over gives it a little more lift?

Yes, about an inch and a half.

This is 255/60 on 15x8 wheels with 4.5" of back spacing.



There is about 1/2" of clearance between the tire side wall and the spring. There is about 1.5" of clearance to the wheel well lip on the outside. A wheel with a little less back spacing would allow a 275/60 or possibly a 295/60 tire to fit.
