Will be installing new fuel and brake lines in my Challenger. Who makes the best product at the best price? I'm open to stainless steel or aluminum. Want to order 3/8 fuel line. Where is a good place to look? Your experience?

I went with in line tube. Good fit and reasonable price. They sell steel and stainless. I used the steel. The tubes are pre-bent and have a "shipping bend" in a straight section so they fit in a 6' box. I had no problem straightening the shipping bend on a concrete floor per instructions.

Aluminum is sometimes used sucessfully on home built systems but its toughness and resistance to alcohol have been questioned so I stay away from it for fuel line.

I have used Fine Lines myself. They fit great, I like reg steel lines, stainless is too hard for me and hard to keep sealed because they are so hard.

Leave the aluminum line for the race cars, not recomended for the street.

Also, on the fuel lines. I'd order the gas lines for a 70 or 71 Hemi or 440 6 pack. That way you will get 3/8" and get the return line. It'a what I did for my 71 318 car which now has a 440 6 in it and it runs great in the hottest weather with no vapor lock.
You will also have to have to order the vapor line that hooks to the vapor, charcoal canister for your 74. I'd recomend hooking it up to your passenger side breather on the valve cover if your not gonna run the charcoal canister. If you have one(charcoal canister), I'd run/use it.

When you get the new line, if you don't pick it up at a show it will be bent is half to fit in the box. Just slowly straighten it out to return it to its original shape. Also, if you have the old fuel line (applies to the brake line too), compare the bends side-by-side as sometimes the bends are clocked wrong (DAMHIK).
