I bought a carter 6903 fuel pump from mancini, this pump is rated at 5.5 to 6.5 psi but is actually over 9 psi This is causing the carbs to leak. Anyone else bought this pump with good results? Mancini checked with carter and and both basically said they don't know what it could be.This is the only pump on the car, no electric pump.Any ideas out there?

Thanks Daryl

Contrary to popular thought, pump psi is set by the spring and the eccentric (SB) or pushrod (BB) recocks the pump arm. Can you obtain/sub in a weaker spring EDIT might b able to cut a coil off of it

This is why I run a pressure gage and regulator.
