I have a MSD digital 6 on my 74 scamp 440 with a mallory unilite dist. The directions are not very clear on if I need to cut the green loop wire or not. Any experiance out there?

Per MSD, if you are using a unilite (or any other non-magnetic trigger dist.), dont cut the green "magnetic pickup" loop. You cut it when you run a magnetic pickup distributor. Looks like there is some sort of compensation factor for retard at high RPM's with a magnetic pickup that is activated when the wire is cut.
