I have 1965 Belvedere with 440 dual exhaust 2.5 inch. I can't decide which will sound the best. I love the deep rumble outside the car. Don't want it to be to loud inside the car. Yet I do want people to know I'm a coming. Can get a good deal on the super40 not so good on the 50 series. Advasnced suto is offering 20% off if you buy them online before 5/28/2011

The 40's are loud as hell. I used to run the big block 50 series 3" and they sound great, don't know if they still make them. Never used the delta flow versions so I'm not much help.

My buddy has the 3" 40's on his car......LOUD as hell!! I have 3" 50's on mine and to me it sounds good. A lot of personal preference involved here!!

Edit: both cars have 3" tailpipes also, 1 420" inch smallblock(40's) 1 470" Big block (50's)both A-bodies

I believe mine are 40's as well...bystanders love em but as stated above, they are fairly obnoxious inside after a short time.

I put the 40s on my cuda and didnt think they were loud enough. But if your looking for quiet just get you a good set of turbo muffs from a reputable brand. For 20% off I would go with the 40s. Not like your going to drive it coast to coast.
