I have a 500 stroker and got my carb from Promax. Gave them a ton of info and they recommended 870 manual secondary. When I got the carb I bolted it on and after a couple minor tweeks it was a whole new car (was an 750 Speed Demon). If you can spring for it, they have a great product.

I will second Promax. Ben always has rebuilt carbs in his shop for sale and he will guarantee them too. My backup carb is one of Bens old dyno carbs that he had around for a while until I emailed him looking for a carb and he told me what he had to choose from.
