I know there has been discussion about the street hemi rocker arms, and the wide pad rockers.

The 1968 and 70-71 parts books list the same numbers: 2468173 intake, 2468174 exhaust
I was under the assumption the 70-71 had the wide pad rockers, but the parts books say otherwise.

Also, the Circle Track catalogs list: 2468104 intake and 2468106 exhaust for 1968 and the same for the 1974 “Petty” catalog.

Any experts put there to help clarify the differences in these part numbers?? Are the Circle Track part numbers the ‘wide’ pad versions ??

Thanks.

As I understand it, the wide pad rockers in '70 and '71 supersceded the earlier narrow pad versions. I have a complete set of stock rocker arms from a '70 engine and they are indeed the wide pad version.

Thanks for your input. Another question then, why is the part number the same as what is in the 68 parts manual? Is the parts manual for 70-71 wrong?)

Also, are the Circle track part numbers narrow or wide? Just trying to get a good understanding of what is correct for what years. Again, thanks in advance!

Typically when Chrysler would change a vendor or a part design, it would get a new PN for tracking purposes. I have no clue why these apparently escaped that philosophy.
