06 300 - Cabin Air Filter replacement? #997573

I've been digging around down under the cowl, the instructions with the filter say there's a door to remove to change the cabin air filter but I can't find anything that will come out or open. Anyone got any hints how/where to get it open?

09 Charger which I believe it is same platform, raise hood, it's on top of cowl on pass side in the black plastic, about 3" x 8" door

That or if it has an owners manual open it and look fot it.A lot of them are under the hood.Rocky

Yep, I found some pics on another site showing the actual replacement and my setup looks nothing like theirs. Not to mention the large shroud that near totally fills the whole gap under the removable piece of cowling. Dang, was hoping a new filter would make it smell a bit better but guess that's not to be.......

They sell a spray that goes in the outside vents that kills mold,mildew and makes them smell better.Used it at work and it does work.rocky

Some of them on various makes are behind the glove box liner which has to be removed to change the filter.

Yeah, there's a guy at work that told me about that spray, Rocky, I think I'll give it a shot.
