Ok. I am completely lost and confused about how to go about putting a late model chrysler 300c 5.7 hemi in an older Mopar. I have found a great low mileage 5.7 hemi, complete with transmission and rear end at a very reasonable price. I would like to install this in my 1968 small block Coronet, but everything I read just doesn’t make any sense to me. Can somebody give me a step by step plan to install this in my car? Is there a web site or instruction manual anywhere? I have seen $4,000 installation kits that cost more than the engine and transmission. Are these installation kits really necessary? Do you have to have the factory computer and electronics to make these swaps work? Is there any easy way to make this swap? Please help!

Go to the top of the page you are reading right now. Type in "Hemi swap" or "5.7 Hemi", or other related terms in the Google search box and search Moparts for past threads and start reading. There is a lot of info here.
