I need to move my 440 to the driver side a 1/4 inch. What would be the best way to do this? My pass side Torsion bar is hitting my TTI header. here is the thread on that TB hitting Header thread Any help would be appreciated! Thnx

On my engine with stock spool mounts. I leave the block to spool mount bolts loose for a slight final adjustment of block position for the best header clearence.
With your schumacher mounts, Im not sure how much play you will have. If need be you could always elongate the mounts hole for more adjustment movement.
Try loosening the motormount bolts betwen the motor and mount and see how much it gives you. You will need a Pry bar, to check this. I can get about 3/16,s I think, maybe more. Thatys what I do.
Here is what is happening now. I copied and pasted my post in my other thread.... I have the Schumacher Poly Lock mounts and Stealth heads. I have the mounting brackets loose, the main bolt that attaches the motor mount to the k frame loose. I have the hoist attached and took the weight of motor off the mounts, I have pried on both sides and the motor falls right back into place when I lower the motor down. I had a helper pumping the hoist while I was manipulating the motor. I even loosened up the K-frame bolts to make sure they were centered. After more measuring I am close to the specs TTI lists on their site for engine location. After closer looking by both of us we have come to the conclusion the engine has to be too high on the pass side. Could these motor mounts perhaps be the culprit?? If this isnt the problem I see no other way to remedy this then to beat on them and I DONT want to resort to that!!
What hole are you referring to when you mention elongating them for more adjustment. I think I need to be a bit lower (motor) for the TB/Header to quit making contact.
