Wondering if anyone can confirm for a 1970 383 the factory push rod length is 8.550.
Thanks,
Wolf

Yo Wolf, the Mopar Performance engine book on pg. 303 lists B push rods at 8.57" and RB at 9.32" - the '70 Plymouth FSM doesn't appear to have the push rod length listed, if its in there I didn't see it
What are your concerns or suspicions, maybe someone else here can get you some good info

I got a 70 factory 383 engine that has no pushrods, I need to buy a set, not sure what length to purchase. I am seeing several different sizes offered across several different suppliers.

Mopar Performance lists their replacement B push rods at the same spec I posted from their engine book, I'd consider choosing those first as it is when shopping for new... try summit or bpemopar, etc

No history on what has been done with deck and heads being cut. I can buy push rods single, only 8 bucks each. I will purchase one and put it in and check preload for .035 and make any changes if needed from there before buying the whole set.
