www.steerandgear.com. They usually do it within a week or two, depending on how busy they are. Plus, they are not too far in Columbus, OH.

You can try contacting your local machine shops OR big rig service facilities. I once asked about getting a rebuilt unit from my local Kragen/Shucks/O'Rielly store. They had an outside vendor that did them but the warranty service was handled by Kragen.

Fastest is to exchange your core for the rebuilt unit. Firm Feel usually has rebuilt units in stock and.

you can spend $ 325 at Firm feel or just get one from Napa about a $ 140 bucks with core. I have used both and can't tell the diff. You know where money is going next time.

I had my local parts store send my leaker to their rebuilder,A-1 Cardone, on dec 28 th. and got it back Mar.2nd.!!! Drove the car about 25 miles before the seal on the input shaft blew and emptied the reservoir in about 15 seconds. Luckily those 15 seconds were warming up for a sat. morning cruise in the garage, and not on the top end of a quarter mile run at triple digit speeds. A quart of P.S. fluid on the tires at speed would NOT be amusing. As it stands now I'm dead in the water until I get it back again from the warranty repair. Avoid A-1 cardone!!!!
