Ok so here goes I have a 68 Satellite and someone converted it to front disc in the 80s. Years ago I ordered a 68-70 b-body brake line kit from fine lines and just got to start installing them last weekend. Everything fit great up until the front.

Up front the lines were a little different but I got them to work mostly... However when I got to the proportioning valve, the valve they included with the kit looked nothing like what came off the car and the master cylinder lines wouldn't seem to line up correctly... I can only assume it was universal valve. Here it is

Here is what came off the car.

My question is can I use this valve? Has anyone used this valve on their b-body if so do you have any pics so I can use them as a reference? Am I just going to have to shell out another 90 bucks to get the right one? If that's the case will I have to get new master cylinder lines so they will line up?

Thanks for any help!

Hi Dean,

I checked out your link and those are some awesome pics! I wish I had enough skill or money to do what you did I couldn't find any pics of the proportioning valve, let me know if you find out which valve you used. Thanks!
