I have the mechanism and electricals, I need the motors for all 4 windows. I have seen
I. A1 Cardone brand remanufactured units (which look like the originals), but come without the gear and "regulator" (whatever that is).
II. Replacement and Dorman brands new replacement-style. These look different than the originals, but look like they have a bolt on. These come with the gears.

Anyone have experience

The mechanism is the regulator so if buy just motors they should make what you have work.

Take care,

Cardone motors 'without gear' are exactly that. Inside the housing there will only be the worm drive coming out of the motor case. I've bought those before, not enough to make the system work unless you take the missing components out of your existing motors.

I had a 70 Gran Coupe with factory power. Quite a bit of parts scrounging to get it all together and working reasonably well. I like the Nu-Relics in my current car much better.

Edit: Just looked up at O'Reillys, Cardone sells the gears separate from the motors for $25.

The motors interchange with C bodies, & Cordobas, plus all the FMJ stuff...
