I've got a NEW Federal pump for my 440 (Auto Zone). The problem is that the pulley I took off the old pump has too BIG of a hole. Not sure why the shaft on the new pump is smaller .

Is there a press-on adapter available for this or do I need to find a new pulley? Is there anyone that might have these in-stock? What other pulleys might fit (i.e. GM, aftermarket, etc...)? Trying to get the car on the road this weekend .

Thanks

no spacer , you were given the wrong pump from the zone , there is 2 different output size federal pumps , as you have found out . Bouchillon may have the correct pulley for that pump.
