So, I am talking with a good friend this morning and he mentioned going to poly mounts for the engine and trans. The car is a street driven 360/727 Duster, warmed over a bit but nothing radical, these mounts used to be real squeakers, anyone use them recently, I heard the latest generation are quiet. What do you think?

Thanks,
Joey

istalled last weekend these mounts on my chrysler 300.
440cui and tf727. first moment I thought something went bad,
but it was just the drone from the chassis. the mounts are very hard.
not even close to the stock rubbers. if you go with the pu for trans as well,
you can go directly to solid mounts for the engine. that can not be that much differenc.
and the engine is not shaking anymore but the chassis is, but that looks cool

I put the Poly motor mounts on a Hemi Cuda automatic and a 440 Six Cuda 4 speed. I love them !

I had installed a poly trans mount with rubber engine mounts on my Dart, and had a shake at around 2100 RPM or so. I swapped it out for a rubber mount and the shake went away.. either that, or I just can't feel it now.

I've used the poly tranny mounts for years.
Yeah- you feel more vibration- but they are bullet proof and will last forever. And you ARE driving a performance car, aren't you??
