What sticky tire should I put on my '65 B-body when it hits the road soon? I want a tire that bites better than a street tire. The car will be street driven about 90% of the time, weekend events and fun stuff only, but I will run it down the strip on occasion.

I've been considering:

BF Goodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radials
Nitto NT 555 R
Goodyear Eagle SS DOT Drag Radials
Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials
M & H Racemaster Drag Radials

What do you folks recommend? Thanks.

When I was in the market for some, i read different opinions here. I went with the Nitto's - people said they had a lifespan of at least 15,000 miles which is excellent. The BFGs on my Camaro lasted less than half of that.

With the Nitto's on my Duster I've driven thru heavy rain and never noticed any issues with the water.

For a mostly street car that is'nt high horsepower I would go with the Nitto.I have had them on my vette and have them on the rear of my Polara now.

Not the best tire(Nitto) for the track but it will be an improvement.Probably still get the most life on the street but that is a lot of hp/tq to try and control.
