ebodyseast OP mopar E Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 500 NoVa	Want to oil an engine by priming the oil pump with a Mopar hex drive rod - any tips on how to remove the oil pump gear drive in a BB, does the intake manifold HAVE to come off? Thanks Moparts

Supercuda About to go away Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 14,889 up yours	You do not need to pull the intake, just the distributor and drive gear, use a long flat blade screwdriver, put it in the drive gear slot and turn it CW, once it's up out of the cam gear you might need a long needlenose pliers to pull it out. Some times you can just wedge the screwdriver enough to pull, sometimes you need the pliers. They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
