if you run power steering don't use 2 1/4 headers. they all hit the power steering gear. if you shim the gear up, along with the idler arm, they will clear. but you will be adding bump steer to your car.

Hooker Super Comps on my '68 RR Hemi 4speed. 438", big cam, pulls like crazy to 7,500, where I run out of stones and pull the handle for the next gear. 2.5" full exhaust. Sure doesn't feel like there's much if any restriction. Laid them in before the motor, no fit problems, manual everything. A bit tinny from the primary segments until warm. Coated after purchase, been in there since 1988, still look good, but the car's never been in the rain.

I'm running TTI 2-1/4's on my B Body, we had to modify the pipes for clearance, especially at the steering gear & torsion bars. Can't complain about the quality and finish but nearly everyone has encountered fitment issues with larger pipes. I believe it is just the way it is, they're BIG pipes and, as you will no doubt know, a Hemi has poofteenth of zero space in terms of available room.
