I have a 1 wire alternator. It stops charging after a while and the tester says "overhcarge regulator failure"

Aftermarket 1-Wire alternators have the Voltage Regulator built into them, instead of external regulators- like our old Mopars have.
You'll have to remove it, open it up, and replace the regulator.
Most are based on GM designs, so I'd take the regulator to the local parts house and match something up. Should be cheap enough though.

Been trying to figure it out this am. If i leave it sit for a while and start it up it will charge fine for about 10 or 15 minutes and then quits charging completely. It goes to 0 percent charging.
