I was happy to see the service manual for 65 Chrysler had the interior colors in it with the Ditzler codes. So when I get ready to paint my dash frame I go to my semi-local Ditzler jobber with a piece of the dash and the book. Thier 65 chart shows the same colors, just no color chips. My interior is an old pale loking gold color, so I get a quart of the pale gold. NOT! Way off. Well, it has to be the tan then, that's the only other option. It's closer, but has too much of a purple (?) tint to it. I sprayed the dash base with it, and it's just not right. Is there any other colors in this range that I missed??? At eighty bucks a pop this is getting expensive. -Pat

dyes usually don't hit the colored plastic 100%, but the paint shop should be able to do some tinting if necessary

This is all metal painting, the dash frame and glove box door and ashtray. I don't think there's really a whole lot of plastic in that interior, maybe the kick panels or something.

lol, my bust ,thought you were doing plastic, none the less, the paint shop should tint it for you if you can take a sample. Worst case scenario Find a jobber that has the "Profit(for PPG)" it takes a picture of the paint and calculates a formula, usually pretty accurate. Dupont has this capability also.
