Drilling out spot welds on a newer mopar. what is best to apply on it so it will disolve? it's still soft. tried a wire cup and it went everywhere

Actually looking for a chemical application.....may try car quest , or napa parts. I have seen those wheels, I'll see what the price is of both. the stuff is gummy though.

Only way I know is wire brush, There is a specific tool used for this , but when you get down to it just a wire brush, Yeah it's messy it's and gets all over. Most are urethane based and designed to stay soft. Never heard of a chemical app that would touch this stuff. It would be hard to neutralize if it got into the seam and I would imagine also remove paints. tape down some plastic sheeting around the area or old sheets or something to contain the mess
