This is an electric speedo, so it either has a sensor or a gear that drives a signal generator. But the question is, where is it located on a front wheel drive car? I have never owned a fwd so this is new to me.

Thats what i was thinking, i will pick up a manual for it one day this week. I added 5 gallons of gas to it today and the gas gauge moved on up, so i guess that is working, i just need to fix the speedo so that i can drive it and start working out the bugs. Randy

So, because the odometer is working, that means the gauge has issues? Just trying to be sure on this.

3 speed or 4 speed?if it shifts ok its the cluster.if the speedo does not work its the output speed sensor on the front of the transmission facing the radiator(unless you have a broken wire). There are two sensors,it will be the one one the drives side.if its a 3 speed sensor is on the passenger side housing of the transmission.
95's were ALL 3.0 and all autos in 95 (I don't know the last year for the manual trans) were the overdrive (four forward gears).
