you guys so anti chevy,i bet when u save 4 or 500 hundred on a chevy crank for ur mopar or few hundred on chevy rods,its ok then!! I AM COWL MAN,and i bet it is functional for aero dynamics,the trick is u need an airpan when doin 135mph or better

Pics for all you cowl hood haters....running a 9" FORD. What a joke. Buy an AAR smooth COWL HOOD. NOTHING looks better on Demon's.

NO cowl Just came back from RT 66 raceway today. There were a good number of Mopars at the test and tune. There were 2 mopars with cowl hoods and they did not look good. A couple of people sitting behind me thought the cars were chevys.

a stop sign used as an airbox to seal to a sixpack hood, I was running 11.00s at the time and went 10.85 with the six pack hood sealed to the carb


1.39 9.85 - 137 mph

It dropped me 2 tenths as well,its the cooler air that makes it faster, not the pressure.

if your using it in the summer it migth be a heat sink and slowing you down

I have 4 inch sixpack hood


and a six inch cowl scoop with another hood to put on


, but ended up ordering a 5 1/2 six pack hood scoop to put on instead
