I have a 36 Dodge 4 door sedan and need some different headlight ideas for it. I don't want to go with the stock location on the grill shell because the car has been chopped, shaved hinges and handles, and has frenched tail lights.
I have attached a picture of the front of the car with someone holding buckets in the stock location. I was thinking some sort of frenched buckets into the smaller fenders. I have considered Mini Copper headlight assemblies, but i am not sure there is enough clearance for them. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks!
James

A 35-36 Plymouth had the lights on stands off the fender fillers (between the fender and the grill/hood sides.

A 39 Plymouth had the headlights set in the front fenders in front of the tires (there is room between the fenders and tires for headlight buckets).

I have seen smaller diameter headlights mounted in the filler area low down beside the grill where the bumper brackets used to come through. Gene
