Working with a mechanic-this is way beyond my skill level:

What are the valve adjustment specs? Esp. height?

what is the correct pushrod length? we seem to have two sets?

thanks!

Don't remember which is which but Hemi's use different length pushrods for intake and exhuast , I think the exhaust is the longer one .

What do you mean by HEIGHT ???

Longer push rods are for the exhaust. Was the engine originally built using the push rods you have ?? Or are you piecing something together ?
Jig it up and check to make sure the push rods you have are the right ones for the engine.

I found the orig pushrods, so the engine builder put new ones in. I am taking the old ones over to the shop tonight and we will check whatis in there now.

The guy who did the rebuild was not a hemi specialist....mostly does Chevys. I think I screwed up having him do the rebuild.

Actually .028 and .032 are the specs on a stock Hemi solid. I usually run them at .024 and .028 though. The pushrods will be obvious when he assembles the engine, hope he checks for proper geometry and rocker clearance, alignment etc.

Yes Sheldon that's why I said to mock it up and check them for correct length, etc.
