I have a 75 440 HP with a cast crank it has 6 bolts on the back flex plate side if the crank. The dampner says for cast crank only. Do I need the torque converter with weights on it or without the weights?

Definitely WITH the weights OR use a flywheel that is balanced, along with a neutral balance converter. B&M used to sell a 440 CAST crank flywheel that had a "crescent" cutout opposite of where the torque converter weights were. I'm not sure if it is still available.

I'm pretty sure it is. I've recently seen them.

You need a weighted converter with a cast crank. OR a use a weighted after market flex plate for cast crank shaft with a non weighted converter. But not both a cast shaft flex plate and a weighted converter.
