OHIO, USA	I need just the base plate for a '68/'69 unsilenced air cleaner and I called a few vendors of the reproduction version and they don't sell the base by itself. I called Mopar Performance and they suggested maybe Yr1 but I don't have a current catalog and couldn't find anything on line. You may find someone that put the Ford Motorsport drop base on their unsilenced air cleaner and wants to sell thier old base. IMHO, that's the best bet. Or, I think you could just take a single snorkle 4bbl air cleaner that takes the same air cleaner element and... everything off but the base.

I didn't know the 3705 had the large AVS size carb throat, I didn't even know there was an original AFB with the large throat.

OHIO, USA	A goodguy shout out to Kevin aka dkn1997 Got a PM from him and the next thing I know a like brand new base plate shows up here at work no charge, no shipping I owe you and you got my PM so let me know......or else THANKS AGAIN And BTW I wasn't able to find anyone that just sold the base but I also didn't contact Jim (Kramer) to see if the base plates discussed here will work (sorry), got the PM from Kevin and like I said the next thing I know I'm holding the new base plate. Thanks again for all of the replies. MikeR
