My hemi is running so rich- it burns your eyes and turns the back bumper blue. It was fine on the dyno- plugs looked great- but now in the car- too rich, plugs black as sin. It has 2 Carter AFB's on it. It starts and runs great- just too rich. Are there power valves like on a Holley, that can be damaged and leaking? Wrong rods/jets? Anywhere else I should start? I'm not the best tuner in the world- but trying to learn. Thanks for your help-

No power valves .

Do you have a chassis dyno local ? That would be the best bet .

I do know you have to be careful about fuel pressure. Those AFB carbs, will not tolerate high pressure like a holley. Are you running the same fuel pump as you did on the Dyno? If you have a high pressure pump now, it may be keeping the needles off the seats.

I have a pressure regulator on it- but did run it too high at first, I think it's at 3.5- 4lbs now. Rebuilt the carbs since the high pressure to make sure. No chassis dyno close- that I'm aware of.

Everything on the carb: fuel psi/float level/float(s)not waterlogged/bad needle/seat/float, needle/seat not hanging up in their travel/metering rods/tree not hanging up/stuck and metering rod tree piston sealing good/correct springs/how much vac at idle/debris on the needle/seat
