yes it is the factory tach,just like in the Charger, but without the clock, but someone messed with the wiring under the dash before me, now I have to reconnect it.......

I have one for sale with the clock, and needs a dash pad but, it's a 68 so it has the key switch.  That tach looks different than the other gauges in the dash. Cleaner and the numbers are much smaller, that came from the factory? It'll look good with a little cleaning.

Not a factory tach.. Does the fender tag, if in possession, have N85 on it? If not, then it probably came with either a clock or a delete plate. All the tachs in the "rallye" instrument cluster had a clock. Now, there was a hood-mounted tach... Not too many of those around for good reason... Yuck...

Oh yeah; I forgot about the hood mounted one....
All the clusters I've seen have either;
- the delete plate: just a black plate with a white cross on it IIRC
- the clock (most common from what I've seen)
- the tic toc tach
