70RR383 OP master Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 3,365 St.Louis,Mo.	Lost my dash lights last night.They worked last year.Could it be the dimmer???Seemed they went out once last year and it was something stupid,but I cant remember what I did.THANKS

JohnRR I Win Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 74,942 U.S.S.A.	Could be the dimmer , easy to check. Turn it to the full on position , the spot just shy of turning on the interior lights , if the dash lights come on them the resistor wired has burned thru , common problem . If not check the fuse .

No , if they come on you need a new dimmer switch because the dimmer part is burnt out ... assuming you want that function to continue to work .
