MN-ScatPack OP master Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 5,188 Twin Cities, MN	So I have a friend coming over to weld in my 4 speed hump and I need to know if there is more things that need welding for this conversion. I have the ball stud bracket on order, but is there anything else I need to have welded to convert this challenger from and auto to a manual?

Dan Brewer super stock Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 766 Ohio	Frame bracket and floor tunnel are the only pieces that have to be welded. The 2 stud bracket through the cowl was spot welded from the factory. This eased assembly, but not required. A833 4-speeds, parts & services http://www.brewersperformance.com/

Good luck with your conversion. I saved this from this site, maybe it'll help you if you don't already have it.

Tom_440 master Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 5,134 Las Vegas, NV	Scott, I assume you are converting an e-body? I believe the hump will only "fit" the contours of the floor pan in one location. Once you find the spot, trace a line around the outside of the hump and cut the floor about an inch inside the line. Watch out for the stuff below when you are cutting.
