ARP s do have " ARP" in them. If not, they could be some Pioneers, older MP or something. If they arent stamped ARP, then they probably are not. ARPs are usually torqued to 50# with ARP lube, a lesser quality bolt will be less.

Does anyone have a set of ARP #145-6002 383-440 3/8" rod bolts for stock rods? If so, what does the bolt head look like? Is "ARP" stamped into the bolt head or is it smooth with just a small dimple in the center? Thanks!I rebuilding a 440 with aftermarket non-stock rod bolts, and I'm trying to determine what spec to torque them to. My bolts are smooth, no ARP logo, dimple in the center.
Like Dram said, the instruction sheets calls for 50 Ft lbs with ARP lube On new bolts they want you to measure the new length and record it,if you don't have a rod bolt stretch gauge you should tighten the bolts three different times(loosen and retighten) to 50 lbs before using them and then check the free length each time before you reuse them
