69 B-body auto,i instaleed engine and tranny but the tailshaft actually hits the trans tunnel on the pass side.i had to pry it over to get the tranny mount on.the motor mounts are on correctly and the k frame seems not to be bent.where should i look for a corection?

Are you sure the mounts are on the correct side of the ears on the block?

did you bolt the motor mount brackets on right? Did you use the correct ones? I would not force fit anything like that. What is the M/T now and what was it before?

ive done plenty of R&R the mounts are correct and theyll only go on one way.i didnt pull the orig motor so i dont know if it was off before.i actually pulled the mounts off and compared them to a original set and every thing SEEMS good to go,unless im missing somthing obvious,like i said ive done this multable times ,it should be a no brainer.

was the car hit? is it off to the pass or drvrs side? If it's that far off it's going to make using headers or even hi-po manis an issue. Is the engine cocked, like in an angle or is it totally over to one side? Are you using a solid side Motor mount? they are adjustable.
