I vote for the 850 dp. I had an 800 DP on a 440 with a 222 @.050 cam 3.23 stock converter, and at over 4200 lbs. It ran better than with my 3310 or 750 AFB.
With the 3.91's and converter I was thinking it could use 800cfm with the smaller diameter throttle bores(same as 750/less than 850)and still have decent part throttle response. I will agree it is hard to beat a well tuned 750 vac sec on many applications(my 496 barge included).

I have run them all, and a variety of engines and my similar engine 10:1 446 with street gears, and a good driver will be getting a 750 3310 vacuum carb. small hyd cam, well ported 452 heads with 2.14/1.81 valves engine ran low 7's in the 8th mile with a solid cam and more gear and converter.
