Ok,

Bought a set of comp rockers that accept a ball/ball pushrod... 360sb

Not sure if my OEM push rods are the right length... but... here is the question..

I think my OEM push rods are 9/32 dia and the rocker install sheet says to use 5/16 dia...

Will that 1/32nd of an inch make any difference?

Like I said I don't if the length will work anyway.. just curious what you guys thought.

I should say this is a street car that might do to the track once a year... .490 lift hydraulic cam.

Thanks..

If they are adjustable rockers they will not be usable with the standard length push rod. The adjust extends down through the rocker to far. With standard heads or heads with minimal milling a set of push rods from Summit for use with hydralic lifters with adjustable rockers should work just fine. There is a lot of forgiveness in the hydraulic lifter.

Yes the ball dia must match the cup dia (if that is what you are asking)

Do the lifters have a cup that needs to be matched or will any push rod work in the lifter?

I pretty much thought the push rods would be short but didn't know for sure... I'll mount them this weekend and mock it up for length.

Thanks

They pretty well work with what you have as long as there isn't and extreme difference.
