What is safe on a small block? I know what my spings have coil bind a .600 and I am planning on .550. Is that too close? I have enought seal/ratiner clearance to go .700.. That shouldnt be a problem.

On all of the good race springs the manufacturers recommend no closer than .060 to coil bind I check every spring on that every time
