I am going to build a 426 hemi for a friend. He purchased a new hemi block in 1994 which has both hemi and "440" mounting lugs on it. He prefers to use the "440" mounts since he does not have a hemi K-member. He has chassis headers (hemi) for it also. My question is this: Will the chassis headers work (clear) on this engine using the 440 mounts? It is going in a 70 Cuda. I am sure someone out there has dealt with this situation. PM me or dodgeboy69@atlanticbb.netThanks, Don

the easy thing to do would buy the schumaker mounts for it to convert it from 440-Hemi. Thats what we did with a 69 coronet and are going to be doing with a 383 Road Runner. both with under body headers. show cars to boot.

Look in arruzza's web site. He sells some nice looking hemi mounts. I have not tried them.
