I have a Challenger with a fairly mild 451..9.5:1ish compression, mild Mopar cam Edel 750 with performer RPM,MSD Dist and 6A amp, manual 727 and 3.91 sure grip,255/60/15's.If you read my MSD post i fixed a major problem but i think it runs damn good doesnt pop though carb at full throttle. There is a dude with a tubbed nova with a 383 stroker wanting to do a 20-100 dash with me but not sure if i want to do it.I want to build it up more down the raod but not at this moment. But i know cars that cant touch mine that got a elec pump, regulator and a dual pump holleys and i walk the dog on them..but how do i know if i am keeping the bowls full at wot if it doesnt lift or pop??

If you want to beat him put a real carb on it. That 750 will suck the bowls dry quick. They seem to run out at about the 1000foot mark reguardless of the fuel pump. I had a 383 dart, 10.5:1, 509 cam ported 915 heads, headers, Mallory fuel pump...bla bla anyway car ran good but I gained 2 tenths w/ a 750DP w/o any adjustments. Those Eddy 750's are ok for SB and stock BB builds, if you have any performance upgrades, especially cam, convert and gear you'd be much better off w/ a holley or the bigger 800 thunder series. Oh and your pump question, no need for an electric pump until you are in the mid 11's. I've even had friends run 11.70's on 5/16 line and a good mech pump. On a side note,,,please be careful about the street racing. Best advice is take it to the track. With your 3.91's and cubic inches you should be able to pound him out of the hole.
