bonefish OP master B Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 7,274 s.w.fl	gm one wire.when i rev the motor it pegs the volt guage.is this somthing i can troble shoot or does it need to go to the shop.

Either the regulator is bad or you don't have it proberly hooked to the battery. Take a test meter and check battery voltage. If it follows the dash gauge and goes high, it's a problem in the "one wire."

Either/or ASAP as w it "full fielding" it'll fry the batt and or wiring & if you have to drive it for a short period of time your actually better off unhooking the alt & going off of the batt & running it down some. live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth
