Want to temp. fix my daughter's 96 Neon evap. It takes a while to leak off, but still does.

I'd seen posts before of some additives that are pretty good for small or slow leaks.

Any suggestions?

None, don't use any A/C leak sealer. It can and will seal up the Fixed Orifice Tube. I am pretty sure Neon's have a FOT system.

Don't use it. It will make a mess out of everything and you will be spending more than just the cost of an evap change.

Not all sealers are created alike, I have successfully used the product below on numerous systems without the horrors many predict:

John Advanced has a similar product.I used it in probally 30 cars at work if not more.Never had a problem. It was fairly expensive at about 20 bucks cost but worked well.I had a few cars that had it in for at least 4 years that I know of.Rocky

I agree with John K. on this. I had an original 1974 Chrysler AirTemp central A/C system in rental property and as a last resort before replacing the system, I tried the cliplight product and it works great. System has been perfect with no loss of refrigerant for the last 7 years.
