My 70 440-4 Cuda originally came with 14" rallyes. When the car is done I want to upgrade to a 15" rallye rim with E60X15 polyglas tires. Is there going to be any problems installing these onto a car that originally came with 14's . Are the wheels going to touch the fenders at all?? Is this going to work without modification?? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

No problems with E60 x 15 at all, if you use 15 x 7.

FYI, I just installed P245-60R15 on 15 x 8 on the rear of my Challenger, and they fit - but only with about 3/4" clearance with the wheelwell. That's about the biggest I would go on the rear without any mods.

I got 255/60/15 at all 4's on my 71 Cuda,...that's maxed out on 15X7 rallyes for a Cuda, at full turn the tires "just" start to rub on the frame, the Cuda has a little less clearance than the Challenger in the rear, I tried fitting my Challenger's 275 on the rear, no-way,....... on my Challenger 255/60/15 on the front, and 275/60/15, all Goodyear Eagle GT II's,....check your tire choice amongst other manufacturers, GoodYears of the same size as BFG tend to run slightly larger in thread with, or cross section width

I like the look of full wheelwells so I went with 70 series tires. These are on 15x7 rallies. 225/70/15s in front and 255/70/15s in the rear.

Mike, I have 235/60-15 on front and 255/60-15 on back right now, no issues - new rubber is going to be 245/60-15 all around which is closest to F60-15 hemi E body tire - hope this helps - Joe

I've got 15x8 rallyes with 275 60 15 in the back and 235 60 15 in the front, no rubs, lots of room.
Front rims are about 5/16" from the UCA, not counting weights.
