I know Gary personally. He's a great guy. Well, he USED to be a great guy then he abandoned us and moved to Florida.

Now the Cowtown Mopars club members have to order their stuff and can't pick it up in person.

He moved to Florida? When did that happen?

-Daty

Daty - moved back to Fla in January

Gary .You use Avery vinyl {correct } what mil ?How does it last and workability wise compare to a 3m product ?/

Yes, I mainly use Avery A6 material. The matte black I use is 3 mil calendared material - It is the closest I have found to the "original" stuff. It is rated for 7 years of outdoor use. If there is a special color you need and conformability is truly an issue, I'd recommend upgrading to the A9 Cast material which is thinner and more pliable and also a bit more expensive (although the matte black has a slightly different sheen & texture than the original stuff) The thing to remember is that 3M also makes several grades of material, so just because someone is selling a stripe made with 3M material, it does not necessarily mean it is a better material. I have used Avery products for about 10 years now and have never had a single complaint from a customer about it. Matter of fact, now that I am back in south Florida, I am seeing several vehicles that I did well before I moved away 5 years ago and they still look great.

I also premask all of my kits using something called R-Tape Conform. It is a latex/rubber based transfer tape that allows you to work the material onto the vehicle better than traditional paper based transfer tapes.

Gary,
Do you do a longitudinal stripe for the new Challenger? If so do you have any good pics? Thanks

Guys if you dont use garys stripes your nuts I get more complimnents on my dart than I care for. I had him do a slight custom 340 duster stripe for my Dart sport and he nailed it. Perfect job easy to put on and vary good quality cut lins no waves in the edge of the stripe. Gary uses my dart pictures on line and I dont care. I get calls all the time about it from people asking abpout it. Also my brother has a stripe from gary on his swinger and it fit great. GARY KEEP UP THE GFREAT JOB.

Can you make me a rear tail strip around my tail lights like on the dusters??

Thank you

Scot, thanks for your kind words. What did you have in mind for your tail panel? Something like the 71 style like the sides? If so, how does this look? It is something I made for a guy with a 76 Duster. Pretty sure the tail lights are similar to your Dart Sport's..

I get lots of compliments on Gary's stripes, esp when I went to the Texas Outlaws cruise in Houston a few months ago.
