superbeedave OP mopar S Joined: May 2009 Posts: 508 Cincinnati, Ohio	Getting ready to install a reproduction Tic-Toc-Tac in my 69 Super Bee. Not sure if it came out of the factory with one. My question is how did they run the coil wire thru the firewall? Hole on side of bulkhead with grommet? Or thru bulkhead? Thanks.

There is a dimple in the firewall right next to the bulkhead, that is where the hole was PUNCHED. The hole size depends on the size of the big rubber grommet that is formed on the wire that goes under the dash and also the connector on the end needs to be able to be fed thru it also. Sounds like your wire does not have this if you are asking why the hole is so big for such a small wire?

Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.
