Who knows where is the correct port to check for engine vacuum? I would think that it should be BELOW the throttle blades, maybe from the PCV port OR the power brake fitting.
I'm trying to dial in the BG 850 in the Charger. I need an accurate reading to have any chance of getting this right.
Thanks!

The port for manifold vacuum on a Demon should be on the side of the base plate, towards the front side of the passenger side I believe. It should be a small size, like a vacuum advance port, so that your vacuum gauge will most likely fit right on. The one that gives a reading at idle is manifold vacuum, the other one is ported vacuum for your vacuum advance. I believe the more rearward one is for manifold vacuum.

If you have an extra port where the brake booster hooks up, that will be straight manifold vacuum after the throttle plates as you have guessed.
