For a raised port 440 head like a Victor head, is there enough extra beef added on the intake side such that it could be machined back so that an RB intake would work on a B block?

It's not an issue of saving money, it's that I have an intake that I want to use that's only available for RB blocks.

Anyone?

I assume that AndyF might have an idea on this.

hi,im running these heads and the only problems i see is with shortening the runner length and you might have a problem with the bolts in the intake.?

Well, reference books are good.

Pg 56 of AndyF's book says that stage VI heads do just what I'm looking for, but sorta suck in the performance/dollar area.

Are there any other heads that would be able to do this? I'm not keen on spending vast amounts of money on average performing parts.
