I want to run 17" frnot and 18" rear wheels on my car, I'm going to drop the coin on them this week some time once I make a choice.

I want 17x7 fronts with 245/45/17's and 18x9 rears with 275/40/18's

What backspacing should I get" 4.5" front and 5" rear??

Here's what I'm thinkin, the Rocket Racing Booster wheel (painted silver) 17x7 front with 4.25" backspacing and 18x9 rear with 5.25" backspacing.

Will those backspaces work?

well as for the BS for the front they suggest at least a 7.5" rim so 5" should be fine and 10" rim for the rear. You should be fine w/ 5" BS on the rear. As for your tire size you might want to reconsider. Both those have really short side walls and might look funny on your car. the fronts are only 25.6 and rears 26.6. a 26.6" tire on the back of a b-body is gonna look funny.

How bout a 235/50/17 front and 255/45/18 rear?

17x7 front and 18x8 rear

the rear size, that's all I could figure out/find that isn't ridiculously expensive!

A 275/40/18 is fine with a 9" wide rim.

Remember, 68-70, Charger and Coronets have more rear tire room that Satellite RR's.

With a 18" rim, you can run 5.0" of front backspacing if you need to.

I'm about to drop coin on these wheels. The sizes above, fronts are 4.25" backspacing and the rears are 4.75" backspacing.

Will that work?

just hold out and do the research before impulse buying......dont buy a different size cause tires are cheaper......buy them because its the right size/look desired.......the price difference will be pennies for your happiness overall

Now that the rain stopped for a few hours i checked the size of the rims and tires for you Jarrod.

Mine are 17 x 8 rims with 245 x 45 and 18 x 10 rims with 285 x 45.

Just copy what Stu has on his car.

An 8" wide rim in the rear isn't going to look as nice as a 10" wide rim.
