Hey guys,

Went to take apart my brand new Meiling Oil pump to install a HP releif spring in it and found there was a core plug behind the cotter pin. I ended up drilling a hole in the plug to pull it out so i could change the spring. Now im wondering, can i reuse this plug even though it has a hole in it? or will I have to replace it with another plug? I still have the old oil pump in a box somewhere, was thinking maybe i can figure out how to get the plug outta that one if its the same

Any suggestions or ideas of what to do?

thanks!
Matthew

Not sure if it has psi against the back side but I think so & yes I'd get another one. Your parts house will have one, just get a deep one like a good ole Dorman. If they dont have the correct dia, MP has it but it'll for sure b more & will have the HP spring P3690944 along w it
